Swim Spa Comparison
Endless™ Pools Swim Spas vs. Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas by Master Spas®
Like any major purchase, a swim spa requires thoughtful planning to ensure you maximize your investment. You need the perfect product to fit your home and lifestyle and this article is going to help you by providing an in-depth comparison of two leading swim spa brands – Endless Pools Swim Spas and Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas.
About Endless™ Pools
More than thirty years ago, Endless Pools pioneered a new technology that made it easier and more enjoyable to swim-at-home. Endless Pools Hydrodrive™ Technology was the first of its kind; creating a powerful, yet smooth current that simulates swimming continuously in a compact space. Endless Pools has nine models in their line of high-quality swim spas intended for swimming and aquatic fitness. Our performance E-Series Models (E2000, E700, E550 and E500) use Hydrodrive Technology to generate a powerful current.
About Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas
Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas has a total of 3 models that produce a swim current for swimming, jogging, walking, or exercising in water. Michael Phelps swim spas include Wave Propulsion™ System swim technology.
Propulsion Systems
Endless Pools Swim Spas and Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas both use a propulsion system to generate a current. The system moves more water than a swim jet, without the addition of air to create resistance. Endless Pools Hydrodrive system produces up to 5,000 gallons of water flow per minute, compared to the 500 - 2,000 gallons/minute in the Michael Phelps units.
E-Series Swim Spas (E2000, E700, E550, E500)
These models include our premier Hydrodrive Technology, a hydraulically-powered propulsion system that creates a current of up to 5,000 gallons per minute. The result is a swim current that is free of turbulence and is wider than your body and deeper than your stroke. All models require 60 amp service, which is capable of powering the current and treadmill, simultaneously.
Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas
The patented Wave Propulsion Technology delivers a deep and wide current of pure water flow. The propeller design of the Wave Propulsion System does not require air to be introduced into the water to increase its strength.
Wave Propulsion (standard)
Standard on most Michael Phelps Swim Spas by Master Spas, the Wave Propulsion system produces almost 500 gallons of water flow per minute.
Wave XP Propulsion (optional upgrade)
Optional on most models but standard on the MP Signature™, the Wave XP Propulsion system generates up to almost 1,500 gallons of water flow per minute.
Wave XP Pro Propulsion (optional upgrade on select models)
Optional on only the MP Signature™ model, the Wave XP Pro requires 100 amp service and generates almost 2,000 gallons of water flow per minute.
Underwater Treadmill
Endless Pools Swim Spas
Our optional hydraulically powered underwater treadmill, available in our E-Series Swim Spas, offers low-impact run, walk and exercise options. By using the the current with the treadmill, the flow increases resistance against core, leg, and upper body muscle groups. The treadmill has a speed range of 0.5 to 5.5 MPH.
Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas
There is no underwater treadmill option.
