The WaterWell is completely self-contained. All filtration, heating and sanitizing equipment fits beneath the skirting and connects to a dedicated 220v, 30 amp GFCI circuit. The 4'6" WaterWell exerts an evenly distributed load of about 270 lbs/sq ft.
The modular construction of the WaterWell allows you to install it indoors in existing spaces and enjoy water exercise and therapy on your schedule. Basements, garages, any ground floor space will do. The panels, which bolt together to form the WaterWell, fit easily through any doorway. Our standard 7' x 7' (inside dimension) model can easily accommodate two people, but our customers frequently choose larger models to provide a little more room and to accommodate multiple users. To best determine how much room you need, consider your water-based exercises and activities.
Since it is the buoyancy effect of water that makes aquatic exercise and therapy so useful, choosing the correct water depth is important. We offer 3 different wall heights to suit your needs. Our optional Stairs are typically used to access the WaterWell.
The Water Quality System is installed on the front panel of your WaterWell. The skimmer/filter, circulating pump, and heater/controller are plumbed together with simple unions greatly simplifying installation. The system is pre-wired and each component connects to the heater/controller with color-coded plugs. User friendly computerized controls allow you to set the water temperature and control the optional lights and hydrotherapy jets. The super efficient circulating pump (110 watts) not only saves energy but is also whisper quiet. The washable filter and Nature 2 copper/silver cartridge greatly reduces the amount of chlorine required and are easily replaced from inside the pool.
On-going access is only required to the front panel where all of the equipment is located. Additional access is required when optional hydrotherapy jets are selected. Consequently, the space allocated for your WaterWell can be quite small. We recommend using our Layout Kit and sketching your desired location and the size WaterWell that fits in that space. I had a stroke and was advised that water therapy would be best for my continued rehabilitation. My therapist worked out several pool exercises for me. Not only has my energy level increased, I have progressed far enough that I’m playing golf.
I spend so much time in the pool my husband has to come and get me out. I love it!!!!! I do not consider it a swimming pool, I consider it a therapy pool. It improves my body, mind and yes even my soul. It is a dream come true for me.
In the last several months by changing my diet and working out in the pool, I have normalized my (blood) pressure and cholesterol situation. Also, my wife does aerobics 2 to 3 times a week and keeps in pretty good shape with this regimen.
The water greatly reduces the pain of standing and walking. I am gaining strength and endurance. Also I believe I am getting cardio exercise in the WaterWell that I never could have with regular walking because with my arthritis I can only walk at a slow pace. A secondary value is relaxing with the water jets.
I feel I’ve gained strength and I’ve been able to decrease my pain medication.
After 30 minutes in your wonderful invention, I am totally energized for the rest of the day.
I just love to do aerobics in my new WaterWell and am feeling great. I appreciate greatly all your time and patience. My retirement money is well spent. I am sure of that now!!
