The
Fit Farm, the newest reality TV show from Channel
4, welcomes ten people who are ready to swap their
daily lives for a twelve-week intensive regimen of
fitness, diet and lifestyle in a battle to reshape
their bodies, minds and lives.
The
Fit Farm's producers sought a compact and effective
exercise and weight loss tool and discovered the Endless
Pool, a treadmill for swimmers. In an Endless Pool,
The Fit Farm participants can swim, exercise or just
relax in a pool measuring just 8 by 15 feet. Whatever
their fitness level, an Endless Pool will enable the
participants to exercise at their own speed and ability.
The guests stay from Sunday to Thursday at the Fit
Farm and have an opportunity to go home on the weekends,
still keeping to their fitness and diet plans. The
Fit Farm guests attend classes that are broken up
into three groups: fitness, diet and life-coaching.
There are individual session and group sessions with
the weigh-in every Thursday. The guests use the pool
in their free time and as part of filmed activity
every other day, swimming a max. of half an hour per
session. It has been used for group demonstrations
and as part of a Life Saving session.
