September 2004, Endless Pools was featured on UK's Channel
4’s Room for Improvement. The episode
documented the step-by-step process of building a stunning
conservatory in Henley with the Endless Pool as its
centerpiece. The Room for Improvement team followed
everything from design choices to the installation of
the pool and the construction of the conservatory.
With more and more people deciding to make better use
of the space they already have rather than moving to
a bigger house, Room for Improvement follows
home improvement projects from start to finish. The
projects include finding innovative ways of expanding
homes upwards into lofts, downwards into the cellar
or sideways.
After numerous rain delays, the completed Henley conservatory
and Endless Pool looked splendid. Thrilled with the
finished project, owner Ann Shankland commented, “Its
great, it does exactly what we want it to do.”
While her husband Chris admitted they had chosen an
expensive addition to house their pool, he thought it
was well worth it. “I think that comparing it
to the other things you could buy with that sort of
money the big plus of this is (A) its good for your
health, and (B) its something your going to use everyday.”
