Triathlete Reviews the Endless Pool

I tested the Endless Pool twice -- once at their
headquarters in Aston, PA, and then again at their
expo in Lake Placid, NY.
I think it's great for open water training -- no
walls to push off of, so it is a lot more tiring than
pool swimming.
There's a mirror, so you can watch your swim stroke,
and you can adjust the swim current to do some drill
work or other strokes.
It isn't as boring as I had expected. Then again,
for what it's worth, I actually enjoy treadmill runs
more than road runs quite often. In fact, the pool
is kind of fun!
